Our sweet baby girl, Luna, was put to rest on Monday, 5/30/2022. She was a sweet fun-loving cat that brought our family so much joy. Our hearts are broken, we are not sure how we will get through the coming days without you under our feet or meowing to go outside on the back deck, but we will try. We have so many great memories and know that we gave you the best life, although short, that you could have.

Rest in peace our little Luna.

Jax, you were my first pup that was really mine. You were more than a dog, you were family. You will always be with us. I miss your barking at every little thing. The house seems so quiet now, even with your little sisters running around. Angel misses you every day. Until we meet again my pupachu. I love you so much!

Writing this is tough, Chui, as I feel we had to say “goodbye” far too soon.

You and Little Kitty came into our lives from Paul’s sister Rachael a little over five years ago when her future husband was deathly allergic to cats and she wanted to find them a good home. It was hard for her after eight years, but she knew we would give you and your sister all the love you deserved.

You were my buddy, my silver shadow, there every morning waiting for me to get up and feed you. LK was right there with you just to be at your side.

Rachael came to take care of you when we had to travel, and you lit up to greet us at the door the night we came back home. Something went terribly wrong the next day (on your 16th birthday no less) after this latest trip, though, and we rushed you to the hospital that evening.

Unfortunately it was something sinister that snuck up on us, and your body betrayed you. Little did we realize you weren’t going to come home ever again. I had a little hope when you walked under a dose of steroids, but that quickly faded and never came back, just like your appetite.

You had so much more love to give that it doesn’t seem fair. On your last night we held you in our arms at the hospital, and you tried to hug us both even if your limbs didn’t have the strength anymore. It shattered our hearts that this was going to be the last night we’d ever get to hold you.

On the way to your humane sleep, I cuddled you in the back seat of the car while Paul drove. We brought you back home outside on the sunny deck for some minutes just to be in a familiar place, in your favorite indoor bed. We wanted your last waking memories to be of home, the sun and the people who loved you so very, very much.

This morning I woke up and my heart hurt that you weren’t around anymore. You were the best boy.

Please send us your love from the other side and let Little Kitty know it’s going to be okay? We will try to give her a double dose of love and attention on your behalf, but you know how she is.

Miss you so much. Love you forever.

Mommy’s little baby, poo poo’s, twinkle toe’s, chicken leg’s, my shadow, protector. Always kept me on my toes, Jax and Stitchy my reasons for living. You brought more joy and love to our lives than you could’ve ever known. I hope you know how much you were loved right back. Life will never be the same until we meet again.

My baby P… you left us so suddenly and so quickly… I am still in shock and at loss for words…
You have brought so much joy and happiness into our lives, and have touched everyone who has ever known you.
You were never just a cat. And to me, you were everything.
Thank you for your unconditional love and for being my bestest friend, through thick and thin, always. I could never ask for a better companion. You have changed me forever baby P. Thank you for the last 7.5 years of our lives together. I will endlessly miss your sweet sweet hugs and kisses, your loud meows and most comforting purrs.
I love you forever, my Pushka.
Rest in eternal peace my little angel🤍

      Love, Mom.

Our beautiful Lily made it to an incredible 17 years, before we had to finally let her go.
She was a big foodie, and would run and hop around even at 17 with aching joints, so happy she was about to fill her belly! She was nearly deaf, but not enough to miss when someone opened a piece of cheese.
I was her comfort as much as she was mine. I’m happy I got to hold her in my arms as she was relieved of her pain. Your love, those perky ears, and that cute little snoot…. I’ll never forget!

      My sweet baby forever
