Moose
“I lost my best friend of almost 14 years, my Moose or Mooseman as he has come to be known, to cancer. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve had to go thru. From the compassion in their voices over the phone to the sincere look of sympathy in their eyes when I picked him up made this time a little easier. I was so grateful to know that they truly cared about my Mooseman and I felt like they treated him as one of their own. Not that I would wish this upon anyone but unfortunately for those of... Princess Maggie
“I cannot say enough how caring and helpful you are at a time of loss. You took such good care of my Molly that I knew Maggie would be in good hands from the time that you picked her up from the hospital until she was returned to me. You cannot imagine the comfort it gives to the owner as an animal is like your child. THANK YOU so much for caring. I put Maggie’s paw print that you sent by her urn. Your service and caring is EXCEPTIONAL. Judy Yarbrough”
Charlie
“I had a house fire in May of 2020, unfortunately, I lost everything, most importantly my best friend Charlie. Charlie was a Shi-tzu and would have turned 10 in October. He was born 10-10-10! My heart and soul was crushed with the loss of Charlie, absolutely crushed. The firefighters were able to locate Charlie so that I could have him cremated. Forget Me Not…. You were all so caring and generous. You will never know how much I appreciate the care you took in returning Charlie to me. I am almost in tears right now. Thank you so much and... “We unexpectedly lost our boy, Gilbert, on January 12th. It was such a traumatic event and thinking about cremation or an urn after everything that happened was devestating. Angell Memorial helped me fill out some paperwork, write what I wanted added to his urn, and we went home. The next few days I was in agony with guilt because I didn’t think to have a mold made of his paw. When he arrived at our house, his beautiful urn was accompanied by a perfect mold of his paw with his name on the cast. It was such a tremendous blessing... (Click to read more)

“Thank you so much! You took such great care of my baby girl Molly. I was a little hesitant when I was handed a pamphlet and told the company will contact you. After talking to Jen on the phone, I felt so much more at peace. I knew Molly was in good hands. Jen was very patient and understanding. She talked me through the process and even called me back in like two minutes to confirm Molly was indeed on her way to their location for her private cremation. “We just lost our amazing 175lb big boy Zeus on Dec 14, 2020. Our vet provided us with two useless pamphlets that only listed the basic service options, no pricing, no turn around time, no extras etc, upon calling them to find out how to proceed we received a full voicemail for one and left a message for the other, to this date 12-31 still no returned call. After Googling Pet Cremation I was lucky to come across Forget-Me-Not. I was so worried they wouldn’t service our area since we are pretty far from their location. They were amazing. We... “Long review but I want people to know that there are options even with Covid that your family member can be with you at home when it’s time to go to Heaven. Huge thank you to Forget-Me-Not Pet Crematory. Our precious Avid was just a teeny 10 week old baby when he arrived home with us and at 15 years and 4 months we had to say goodbye. We had Dr. Christine Maxfield (Owner of In Home Euthanasia of MA & RI) come to our home for Avid’s passing as I couldn’t deal with our Vets Covid policy for euthanasia... (Click to read more)

“I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I had my dog cremated today with the witness cremation. Everyone was so kind, professional, caring and overall wonderful. What a blessing it was to be able to still do a witness cremation during these uncertain times. I lost my best friend on September 16th. “Minnie would have been 16 years old in 5 weeks. Right up until the end she was proud and in good spirits. Even though you know its coming her passing was devastating. But when the veterinary hospital told me of Forget-Me-Not it helped the pain & loss. They assured me and were confident of your reputation and high standads. From the phone call in the morning to discuss the arrangements to the phone call telling me I could pick her up Forget-Me-Not helped me get through a very sad and difficult time. I cannot put into words how having her... (Click to read more)

Commando
“I adopted my little girl Commando when I was three and a half years old and for the past sixteen years she has been by my side the entire time. From starting kindergarten to now starting college shes been not only my best friend but my one true happiness. A few weeks after her sixteenth birthday she got violently sick and I desperately wanted to help her but the only way to truly do so was to painfully say goodbye. I am incredibly thankful to Forget Me Not for the beautiful job done with my precious little girls remains. I... (Click to read more)
Our dog Coach
“Our 9 year old Golden Retriever Coach had to be put down very suddenly and unexpectedly. We were beside our-self with grief. We had Coach since he was a pup and our two children loved him so much, we all did. Our vet and Forget-Me-Not handled everything for us. I cannot thank them enough for all they did to help us. Forget-Me-Not kept us in the loop every step of the way and presented us with an amazing urn and forget me not flowers to plant. Their kindness and compassion are unmatched. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Harold
“After 14 years, we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Harold on July 13th. The staff at Forget-Me-Not are amazing. They not only handled my dog Harold with love and respect, they were so compassionate and supportive of my family. We chose to have a private service where we were able to visit with Harold before his cremation. To some it might feel a bit silly to have a funeral or wake for a pet, but then they do not understand how a pet can be deeply loved and cherished. My Harold was a part of our family... Fergus and Finneus
“A few months ago I lost my 12 year old cat Fergus to cancer. I knew he was ill and I was able to prepare for it. I contacted Forget-Me-Not and they were fantastic throughout the whole process. Everyone I dealt with was very compassionate and I felt that good knowing he was being taken care of. This past Saturday I lost his brother, Finneus, but it came as a total shock. I contacted Forget-Me-Not today and was again struck by how caring the people who work their are. I am heartbroken but I am comforted by the fact that... (Click to read more)
Domino
“My 11 year old cat Domino had been suffering from a long term undiagnosed skin disease for over a year. We took him to many different doctors and specialists to try to find out what was wrong with him. Finally, after a year and a half, he was diagnosed with pemphigus, a rare autoimmune disorder, by a dermatologist at Angell Memorial. It’s a tough disease, but treatable with steroids. Because Domino also had a heart murmur, we wanted to do a cardiac workup before starting the steroids. I am a vet tech at Lexington Veterinary Associates, so the day after... (Click to read more)
Basil
“Our 14 year old dog Basil left us on the 4th of July this year – it was to be our vacation week and we feel she made sure we were out of the house and having a fun day – she wanted to go alone. When we got home later that night we found her in the hallway – it was the hardest thing ever to hold her just one last time and tell her how sorry we were that she had to leave us & that we would miss her forever. We didn’t know what to do and... (Click to read more)
Tuxedo
“This heartfelt thank you is long overdue. My beloved Tuxedo cat passed in May 2013. The kindness and compassion that everyone at Forget-Me-Not showed me is ever remembered. It was indeed a trying time for me as my husband was coming to the end of his battle with cancer and died a month after Tuxedo. We lived for our cats as they were the children we never had. We had just moved and our new veterinarian recommended Forget-Me-Not and I am forever grateful that she did. The kindness and compassion began the moment the wonderful young lady at the desk... Lola
“I can’t thank you enough for the kindness and compassion that you showed to us when we brought our beloved girl, Lola in. It was one of the hardest days of our lives and your staff made it so that we didn’t have to think about anything but saying goodbye to Lola. They gave us the time and space that we needed to say goodbye and when I couldn’t bear to leave her, one of the girls took her in her arms for me and promised to take care of her. You are wonderful people and I thank you from... (Click to read more)
Pepper
“I picked up my best friend Pepper’s ashes yesterday at our vet’s office and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was so touched by the way she was “protected” in the package and all of the “extras” they put in it, ie the packet of seeds to plant in her memory, the copy of the “Rainbow Bridge” and the certification that these in fact were her cremains. It’s hard to trust these days, because we’ve all heard horror stories about loved ones (either human or pet) and intentional/unintentional “mix-ups” with cremains. What a comfort it was for me to...
