Our Testimonials

Somber & Sympathetic Service
“The folks at Forget-me-not had reserved a room when we called them in the morning. They treated our pet with the utmost care and compassion. They never rushed us and gave us all the time to say goodbye to our beloved pet. After the cremation they discussed all of our memorial options without pushing us to make a particular choice. Overall we were very pleased with the arrangements and the care we received.”
Best Pet Crematory
“I’ve been coming to this place for a few years as dogs of my family have passed on, They’ve always been professional and understanding of the loss that just occured, but have not had to make a personal visit until recently this month (Nov 2018.) I just recently had to make a personal visit to the crematory with my three month old Jack-Chi, Commander Cosmo. He was to be my service dog when he passed his training, but that was not the plan Time had for him. Back in 2016, My mother brought in my 21-year old doxie named Angel,... (Click to read more)
Thank You
“We lost out beloved Zeus a few weeks ago, everyone was wonderful at Medway Animal Hospital, and they are the one’s who suggested Forget-Me-Not services, today we picked up our baby, we are tearful once again over our 5 pound teacup Chihuahua. The presentation of the small box was wonderful, with the rainbow bridge poem inside. Thank you again for your wonderful services….. The Signorielli’s”

Awesome service and compassion
“We were on vacation when we lost our beloved Golden retriever, Lady Emma. We had no idea she was as sick as she was and after she had been put down by the amazing vet in Portsmouth they called Forget Me Not. The service was awesome and handled with much care and comfort. Of course, we did not continue our vacation. We stopped to visit my sister and get comfort from her Golden and went back to Louisiana. Lady was delivered to our home a few days after our return. The urn is beautiful and many little loving touches were... (Click to read more)
many pets
“we were first introduced to Forget Me Not in 2016 through a Vet hospital, when my Beautiful Siamese Cookie passed, of all my critters she was the dearest to me. I had never had the opportunity to have an actual funeral for my other babies, and was so grateful to get that chance with her. A few pets later, the Hospital stopped doing business here, didn’t tell us, the price was tripled, and after some very cold interaction with the other place, we finally got our pet’s remains back (we hope) So when Bean died last Thursday we drove her... COMFORTING PACKAGE
“My beloved Diego passed away on July 11, 2018. He was almost 15. I want to commend Forget-Me-Not for the compassion shown to me and the dignity with which they treated my dear member of the family. From the gentle and caring Stephanie who answered the phone on my initial contact with Forget-Me-Not to the quick and safe return today of my Diego’s remains, I was so impressed and grateful for the way he was packaged, the obvious care that was taken, the beauty of the urn I chose and its velvet pouch, and the “little extras” included – his... My sweet Angel
“Thank you Sarah for all your timely updates you were kind enough to do with such tenderness and compassion. It takes a special heart big enough to fill with all the souls you show so much love for. My AngelFoodCake wasn’t just one more. She was treated with dignity and tenderness the way we cared for her right up until cancer took her from our lives. I swear Iheard her purring with thanks when I opened that box and held that beautifule urn close to me. When my old boys time comes due I know know he will be safe... (Click to read more)

Toby and Katie
“We want to thank you for all your compassion during this horrible time. Our Toby passed in November, 2012 and we were so impressed with everyone at Forget-Me-Not, that we visited once again on February, 6th of 2018 for our little Katie. The most comforting people..sincere, warm and thorough. Their quiet demeanor made the whole experience bearable. Thank you for helping us through this. It made it easier for us to cope.”
Linny
“Our guinea pig Linny was almost 7 years old. She passed on January 29, 2018. From the first phone call to picking up her cremains, everyone at Forget-Me-Not treated us with as much respect as if she’d been a person. It’s such a sad time to lose a member of your family, but Forget-Me-Not employees were so sympathetic and professional. Thanks for taking such good care of “us”. I would highly recommend your crematory.”
Kendall
“After almost 14 years, it was time to say goodbye to my girl, Kendall Elizabeth. She was sweet and smart and taught me about the love animals have for us, a love like no other. The vet came to our home to make sure Kendall had a safe, easy, and peaceful passing. She was an angel! Later that day I received a call from Forget-Me-Not saying that Kendall had arrived safely. I was adamant that Kendall be privately cremated and I was assured that it would be handled according to my wishes. Four days later, Kendall came home, as promised.... (Click to read more)
Tia
“Our beautiful cat, Tia, passed away and we knew to call Forget Me Not. We had past experience with your crematorium and just felt very good about the care taken and your amazing staff. When Tia passed, it made it slightly better to know she was going to be honored and respected. The urn choices are beautiful and the staff was, once again, wonderful.”
Buddy
“Hello, So my wife and I lost our beloved Buddy and friend of fifteen years, Leo. We knew we wanted him to be cremated but we’re not aware of a facility. We chose Forget-Me-Not from the internet. We dropped him off and were told we could pick him up the next morning. Some things happened and we were surprised. Well let me tell you I did not get to speak to the owner but, I am telling you sir, the people that work for you are valuable assets to your company. Caring, thoughtful and just the best. I will recommend... (Click to read more)
“I just want to extend my thanks to you for kindly providing the extras I asked for. I know you did not have to and I really, really appreciate it as I was not ready to say goodbye to my beloved kitty. I look forward to receiving Bizzie’s cremains, fur, and whiskers and the ability to create a memento. I will post a formal review at the end of the process. Thanks, Kari”

Arthur, our PW Corgi
“We lost our 12 year old tri-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi last week. Arthur had a wonderful life. He was a 2 time Blue Ribbon Winner Show Dog and we were the lucky family to get him when the Breeder was done “Showing” him. He had an older cousin, Edward, he spent many years with. The Edward and Arthur Show!!! 10/12/17 – Arthur went to sleep in his own bed….not to wake up. It was just his time…plain and simple. We turned to Forget-Me -Not and the entire Team did an outstanding, professional job handling of our beloved Arthur that words... (Click to read more)

“I lost my dear sweet Milan Nov 3 last year. Although I live in RI I chose to use forget me not as they did everything that I requested in such a timely manner. Minnie
“Minnie would have been 16 years old in 5 weeks. Right up until the end she was proud and in good spirits. Even though you know its coming her passing was devastating. But when the veterinary hospital told me of Forget-Me-Not it helped the pain & loss. They assured me and were confident of your reputation and high standads. From the phone call in the morning to discuss the arrangements to the phone call telling me I could pick her up Forget-Me-Not helped me get through a very sad and difficult time. I cannot put into words how having her... (Click to read more)

Commando
“I adopted my little girl Commando when I was three and a half years old and for the past sixteen years she has been by my side the entire time. From starting kindergarten to now starting college shes been not only my best friend but my one true happiness. A few weeks after her sixteenth birthday she got violently sick and I desperately wanted to help her but the only way to truly do so was to painfully say goodbye. I am incredibly thankful to Forget Me Not for the beautiful job done with my precious little girls remains. I... (Click to read more)
Our dog Coach
“Our 9 year old Golden Retriever Coach had to be put down very suddenly and unexpectedly. We were beside our-self with grief. We had Coach since he was a pup and our two children loved him so much, we all did. Our vet and Forget-Me-Not handled everything for us. I cannot thank them enough for all they did to help us. Forget-Me-Not kept us in the loop every step of the way and presented us with an amazing urn and forget me not flowers to plant. Their kindness and compassion are unmatched. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
Harold
“After 14 years, we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Harold on July 13th. The staff at Forget-Me-Not are amazing. They not only handled my dog Harold with love and respect, they were so compassionate and supportive of my family. We chose to have a private service where we were able to visit with Harold before his cremation. To some it might feel a bit silly to have a funeral or wake for a pet, but then they do not understand how a pet can be deeply loved and cherished. My Harold was a part of our family... Fergus and Finneus
“A few months ago I lost my 12 year old cat Fergus to cancer. I knew he was ill and I was able to prepare for it. I contacted Forget-Me-Not and they were fantastic throughout the whole process. Everyone I dealt with was very compassionate and I felt that good knowing he was being taken care of. This past Saturday I lost his brother, Finneus, but it came as a total shock. I contacted Forget-Me-Not today and was again struck by how caring the people who work their are. I am heartbroken but I am comforted by the fact that... (Click to read more)
Domino
“My 11 year old cat Domino had been suffering from a long term undiagnosed skin disease for over a year. We took him to many different doctors and specialists to try to find out what was wrong with him. Finally, after a year and a half, he was diagnosed with pemphigus, a rare autoimmune disorder, by a dermatologist at Angell Memorial. It’s a tough disease, but treatable with steroids. Because Domino also had a heart murmur, we wanted to do a cardiac workup before starting the steroids. I am a vet tech at Lexington Veterinary Associates, so the day after... (Click to read more)
Basil
“Our 14 year old dog Basil left us on the 4th of July this year – it was to be our vacation week and we feel she made sure we were out of the house and having a fun day – she wanted to go alone. When we got home later that night we found her in the hallway – it was the hardest thing ever to hold her just one last time and tell her how sorry we were that she had to leave us & that we would miss her forever. We didn’t know what to do and... (Click to read more)
Tuxedo
“This heartfelt thank you is long overdue. My beloved Tuxedo cat passed in May 2013. The kindness and compassion that everyone at Forget-Me-Not showed me is ever remembered. It was indeed a trying time for me as my husband was coming to the end of his battle with cancer and died a month after Tuxedo. We lived for our cats as they were the children we never had. We had just moved and our new veterinarian recommended Forget-Me-Not and I am forever grateful that she did. The kindness and compassion began the moment the wonderful young lady at the desk... Lola
“I can’t thank you enough for the kindness and compassion that you showed to us when we brought our beloved girl, Lola in. It was one of the hardest days of our lives and your staff made it so that we didn’t have to think about anything but saying goodbye to Lola. They gave us the time and space that we needed to say goodbye and when I couldn’t bear to leave her, one of the girls took her in her arms for me and promised to take care of her. You are wonderful people and I thank you from... (Click to read more)
Pepper
“I picked up my best friend Pepper’s ashes yesterday at our vet’s office and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was so touched by the way she was “protected” in the package and all of the “extras” they put in it, ie the packet of seeds to plant in her memory, the copy of the “Rainbow Bridge” and the certification that these in fact were her cremains. It’s hard to trust these days, because we’ve all heard horror stories about loved ones (either human or pet) and intentional/unintentional “mix-ups” with cremains. What a comfort it was for me to...
